Filmosophy urgently needed a logo to communicate the philosophy of their work. Their main goal is to incorporate their professional experience in storytelling using it as a tool to create authentic and social responsible content.

/BRAND IDENTITY

The brand story had to be inline with the overall philosophy, while at the same time exhibit the professionalism and expertise of the team. “Filmosophy is here to tell a story. It doesn’t have to have a happy ending or to be trimmed according to our beliefs. We are here to document and present life, as incomplete as it may seem. That is the beauty of realism, the beauty of imperfection. Filmosophy is here to connect the art of technology to the cosmic and eternal questions raised by life itself.”

/THE LOGO

The logo was designed drawing inspiration from the wording itself. FILM-O-SOPHY.
The circle is incomplete, allowing for movement and development as well as the perfection of all things. Zen practitioners relate the idea to wabi-sabi, the beauty of imperfection. The rounded-square fonts appeal to both the sentiment as well as logic – reflecting the two sides of filmosophy: the humanitarian as well as the trustworthy professional.

/THE WEBSITE

The website kept in line with the overall philosophy: Minimal & Esoteric. The portfolio was the main axis when designing the website, as the work spoke for itself.
